A Cool Moonlight by Angela Johnson

• A Cool Moonlight was one of the best books I have ever read.
• The main character is Lila she can't be in to bright light or sunlight or she will get a rally bad sunburn.
• The people in Lila's family are Mama, Daddy and  Monk (her sister).
• Her BFF's are Alyssa and Elizabeth they are also sisters and some how in the book the sisters are in the oddest places like when Monk went to do stuff for her job they were in the store with an old lady Lila saw them but when she told Monk they weren't there anymore so you see they are in vary odd places.
• oh and there is another BFF of Lila's it's a boy his name is David he has red hair oh and did I say that Lila doesn't go to school because gets burned but when Monk was in 6th grade every 2 hours she cut class to put sunblock on Lila Monk said she would never forget her 6th grade but now Lila can put on her sunblock by her self but she still can't go in to bright light or sunlight and she still can't go to school.
• She can't go to school because school is in the daytime and she is awake in the night plus almost all the fun stuff is outside at school so even if her Mama and Daddy could drive her to school she wouldn't be able to do much of anything at school and there are always windows in the classroom so she home schools but the hard thing is that she has to work on the weekend  her Mama makes her, but she somewhat like to work well more then most people I know or know of. 
• Oh and there is a house at the end of Lila street that hums and at the end of the book you find out that the house is the sister's house.

• the end of the book is all about Lila's Birthday she is turning 9.
